“From history to fashion”

Thanks to my dear dear friend Daniel, aka Baby D, I get to stay up on all the latest fashion trends with my subscription to Elle. So, whatever, I can’t afford that stuff and I think most of it looks ridiculous. And if it doesn’t look ridiculous it would look horrendous on any woman who isn’t so thin that they don’t get their period. However, I have fallen in love with Dolce and Gabbana’s Fall 2012 line. I first noticed it on Selena Gomez. Her dress looked like an antique pillow made into a shift. It sounds terrible, I know. But as an antique lover, I quite enjoy the tapestry patterns, lace and gold incorporation. Can I ever even hope to afford these gorgeous dresses? No. Am I now on a quest to DIY my own similar styles? Oh yeah.
